Romans 15:13 (Amplified Bible) - May the God of your hope so fill you with all joy
and peace in believing [through the experience of your faith] that by the power of the
Holy Spirit you may abound and be overflowing (bubbling over) with hope.

Ladies, how have things been at your house lately?  If you have ever felt like you
should be rich for all of the hours you have clocked staying awake all night with the
lights on, worrying and waiting for a loved one to come home, I hope to bless you
today.  Someone once said, “Worry is like sitting in a rocking chair. It will give you
something to do, but it won’t get you anywhere.”  Believe me, it won’t.

A rebellious teenager, a straying spouse, or loved one on the wrong side of the
fence - whatever brought on this all-night vigil, probably left you feeling empty inside.
Kind of a "the lights are on, but no one’s home" numbness inside that skin you live in.

How did you view your situation? Were you feeling hopeless with a “Condemned
House” mentality? Did you start blaming yourself or thinking you were a failure?
Were you ready to put up the “Foreclosure” sign and give up because you did not
think you could hold on any longer? All of these responses will leave you feeling
helpless and empty. And that’s exactly what the  enemy wants - he wants you to feel
all alone and give up.  He wants you to become discouraged and believe that God
does not care about you or your situation.

The great news is that God does care!  He wants to be with you in every area of
your life. I want to encourage you today to "Refinance" your house and
never, ever
give up hope.
Take your eyes off of the problem and focus on the Problem Solver.
Put all of your trust in God.

Pray this prayer:  “Dear Heavenly Father, please help me to look to You to illuminate
my dark nights.  Help me to put my trust only in You. As I wait for You to work on my
behalf, let me view this as an opportunity to grow in faith, patience and wisdom. Let
the light of Your Holy Spirit shine into my heart and give me the peace that
surpasses all understanding.  I commit my loved one into Your caring hands.  This I
pray, in Jesus’ Name.  Amen.”
